Where every match matters
The founder of Final Stop Rescue C.I.C. has worked for many years in overseas dog rescue with other rescue organisations and wanted to make her own mark and a difference to the lives of the abused and abandoned dogs with her own rescue organisation, which opened in 2014.

There are several aspects to our rescue efforts.
We take dogs from appalling conditions and on borrowed time from public shelters, which are basically slaughter houses for dogs.
We support the dogs in foster shelters until we can find a suitable home for them in the UK.
We support the rehoming of overseas rescue dogs already in the UK.
We rescue the unwanted animals in the UK.

Every dog receives blood tests, a health certificate, microchipping, vaccinations and a passport before arrival.

Beyond rehoming: making a difference
Final Stop Rescue CIC does more than find homes for dogs; we actively improve things in Romania rather than just taking dogs out of the country. We run monthly food fundraising drives, support vital neutering campaigns, and improve local shelters, so fewer dogs face hardship in the first place. Our commitment to welfare goes far beyond adoption day, offering support for the future.
